A new launch from Benefit is always exciting, but when it promises to be a three in one product, well it just reaches a whole new level of excitement!
Fine One One is the perfect handbag staple for a woman on the move who likes to apply her makeup quickly but still look pretty and defined. It's a three in one, made up of a cream coral, watermelon and pink champagne.
The idea is to hold it pink champagne side up and apply it onto the cheeks for the perfect amount of contour, blush and highlight. This product took years to develop because it turns out trying to make one cream product split into three colours is quite the challenge. But Benefit's perfectionist attitude often pays off and is the reason why so many of their products perfectly meet the needs to their customers.
I like that this product is quite sheer... it looks pretty scary when you first apply it but after blending upwards with your fingers it leaves a subtle glow on your cheeks. It's a clever idea and the fact that my mum looked at it and said 'Wow that looks perfect, can I have it?' shows that it's the busy woman's perfect companion.
I'm not a huge fan of the packaging, it's a bit too much like roll-on deodorant to me, but the product inside is a winner.
Will you be heading to a Benefit counter to try this?

Benefit Fine One One £23.50*
I'm a big Benefit fan but I have to admit that I wasn't really attracted to this product when I first saw it. I do like the final effect on you. x
ReplyDeleteI do love the rose colored package but I agrea it looks like a deodorant.
ReplyDeleteThe color looks good on you.
I love the packaging! I actually had a dream about Benefit last night, that they were selling lipstick for €1 hahaha (ok random). I love this product! I saw it in a shop previous week and it seems that every blogger is making me jealous right now by writing about it :D I think it's still a bit pricey, for me though.
ReplyDeleteGreat post!

I really really want to try this - definitely something on my wishlist... xo
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a huge Benefit fan, I find their products too heavy for my dry skin, but I have to admit this looks great. I might try it out when I'm next in my local Boots and see if it will convince me :)

ReplyDeleteEven though I love Benefit I don't think this product is for me quite yet. Maybe, I don't know!

I was completely unsold on this until I saw it against your skin - it looks really luminous. I tend to walk straight past the benefit counter unless I need some Porefessional but I'll definitely stop by next time and have a swatch x Becky

This product is a little gimmicky, but the colours are individually really pretty. I'd probably use a brush to pick out each colour and customize application that way

I must try this, it looks fabulous on you. I agree with the fact it resembles a roll on deodorant although I love the colour/material of the casing.

I think the idea of this is quite cool, and though it is sheer and I tend to prefer more pigmented cheek products, I think I will check this out just for something different :)
