A few new products have been added to my never ending skincare routine and I'm loving using them at the moment. My Origins moisturisers are still a firm staple and I use Make A Difference in the morning and High Potency Night-A-Mins in the evening. LOVE.
I don't suffer from breakouts, but I do occasionally get bumps under my skin and a few odd spots here and there. I recently picked up the La Roche Posay Effeclar A.I which is a targeted breakout corrector. I wouldn't say the spots and blemishes disappear over night but they're definitely reduced and I feel like it prevents the redness I get for a while after the spot has gone.
I've been using the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate in the evening after cleansing, before moisturising. Lisa, the head of Kiehl's training told us that the best way to use this is to put a few drops into your hands and then pat it onto your skin. It's really nice to use before bed because it has a gorgeous lavender essential oil smell. I can notice a difference immediately after using this and my skin feels incredible. The Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate is perfect for the mornings and doubles up as a primer that feels silky smooth on the skin.
I'm very happy with all of these products at the moment. I have dehydrated skin, so make sure to check these work for your skin type before rushing out to buy anything!

After using sample vials for weeks and weeks I finally bought the full size of Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate and I couldn't agree with you more. Not only do I notice immediately how happy/satisfied my skin feels, but when I wake up I swear it looks like somebody came and airbrushed my foundation on overnight. Insane.
ReplyDeleteWhere in your routine do you use the Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate though? As a serum before moisturizer? Are the primer-like effects THAT good that they shine through a moisturizer? Tell us more! :)
I'm dying to try the Kiehls Midnight Recovery Serum, it sounds amazing and I love that it smells of lavender.

ReplyDeleteI was wondering what from Khiel's I should try besides their lotions AND what else I should try from Origins. So, thanks.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.hellokahea.blogspot.com
The Khiel's Midnight Recovery Concentrate sounds like HEAVEN, and like nothing I have in my routine! Also, I'm glad you mentioned the Effaclar AI, as the Duo sounded a bit unnecessary for my skin type. I shall be on the look out for that bad boy, as I'm definitely in need of a targeted breakout corrector! xx
ReplyDeleteI've just bought the breakout corrector.. hoping it will help with my dreaded acne scarring! xx
