Urban Decay NAKED palette £36

So this is part 1 of a 3 part post. I thought it might be nice to show you a few looks you can get using the Urban Decay NAKED palette. So many people seem to own this and if you don't, I'd definitely recommend it as it's my most useful eyeshadow palette.

So this first look is super easy to do and it's one I often do for an everyday makeup look. I simply sweep the light brown colour 'Naked' all over the lid and then taking either a blending brush or a contoured blending brush, I apply the darker brown colour 'Buck' to the crease. I start in the outer corner with most the product and then blend it gradually into the middle of the crease.  As both these shades are matte, they need a bit more work to blend and to look seamless, but once it's all blended in it's such a natural, defined look. I also take the darker 'Buck' colour all the way along under the eye.

It's as simple as that! So look out for look 2 and 3 coming right up!

So what do you think? Do you do this look with your palette?

  1. This is one of my favourite combinations from this palette, its so quick and simple, yet very flattering on most skin tones!
I love this idea of a Naked series, I've had mine nearly 2 years and I still find it hard to think of a combination!

  8. It looks really pretty, and as a girl who doesn't wear eyeshadow the most part of the year, I'd definately wear this. It looks really natural too. I like the Naked palette but I won't use it that often, so I guess I'll just look at pictures of it on the internet instead of buying haha!

    Great post :)

  10. This is exactly what I do for my everyday make-up look, it gives the impression of very little to no make up whilst still giving the eyes definition. The Naked palette is also my most useful palette and everyone should own it! I was a bit indecisive about paying £36 but it's been completely worth it!

Fabulous post, really looking forward to the next two!! :)

  13. Once you've finished with the 'Naked' series, I'd love to see a 'Naked Basics' series if you own that palette! I bought mine the other day and I find it difficult to find the best combinations.

  15. I am the shade B40 in the YSL touch eclat foundation.. so not that much darker than you, but Naked never shows up on my skin at all. :( I don't really know why, though. I always see people using it in the crease, which I tried once, but it looked like literally nothing.
