I always get questions about MAC lipsticks so I thought it was about time I made a video on my collection. It's not a great collection because most of them are colours that don't suit me or I no longer like. BUT I have quite a few favourites that have become staples in my makeup routine.

I know what you mean about the concealer lips! I find it so hard to warm up nudes that i never end up wearing them :( But those are some lovely shades and i'm definitely going to pick up a few! Such a helpful video! I've never been a fan of lipsticks but I'm slowly getting into them and I'm after a MAC one! Someone recommended Saint Germain, but seeing how pink it is I think I might leave it!. I love the one you're wearing, it looks really dark in the bullet but it looks lovely on you!

Totally agree with you on St Germain, it just looks vile on me. I think I have similar colouring to you, and I recently bought Haute Altitude from the Apres Chic collection. It's a really lovely nudey pink and it's so easy to wear.
ReplyDeleteLove Mac lipsticks but I wear pale nudes on a daily basis and for some reason Mac nudes look ghostly on me. But I recently picked up a matte lipstick from NARS in the colour Madere and it's perfect (in case someone was having that same issue)! It's still a pale nude but with a very slight hint of rose so it doesn't look white on your lips.

Great video, Lily! I started buying MAC lipsticks at an early age as well, so my collection is pretty substantial! Some of my favourites that you didn't feature here are Ladybug (a sheer orange red), Impassioned (a bright warm pink), Lickable (slightly blue-toned fuchsia), Rebel (a plummy, purply, red), and Vegas Volt (a warm pinky coral). I really want to try Brick O La (I heard Estee's rave too) and On Hold. Thanks for featuring swatches- so helpful!
