Rimmel Wake Me Up Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch in 002 Radiant Rose & 004 Shimmering Sand £4.99*
The Rimmel Wake Me Up Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch (and breathe) is great for those of you who want to try cream blush but you also want to dabble with highlighters and find the whole thing a bit overwhelming. It's a kind of mix of the two and it makes the whole blusher/highlighter thing a whole lot simpler.
The two shades I have here are really pretty and really easy to use. I would use these by squeezing out a little bit onto the back of my hand (you only need a small amount), then using my middle finger I'd take a bit and blend onto the high points of my cheekbones. In the swatch above I used quite a generous amount of product but if you use a less and blend it more, it leaves a really subtle glow.
I'm really impressed and wanted to show these to you as they're pretty accessible and easy to pick up at Boots, Superdrug etc.
Have you tried these? What do you think?

Those look like such a good alternative to the highlighter/blusher dilemma - I'm not a fan of piling up the products!

Shimmering sand looks really lovely but is it just me or do the tubes look like the tester foundations you get on make up stands in Boots?! Not loving that haha but for the price they look pretty good. XO
ReplyDeletePlease check out my blog if you get a chance, I've just started out and any comments or followers would mean the world to me <3
