Royal Blue, Gold Save the Queen, Pearly Queen, Purple Reign £3.99*
Rimmel are launching loads of great new products for A/W and these Metal Rush nail polishes are just some of them. They come in four shades that all change colour depending on the light. My favourite out of the four is 'Pearly Queen'.
Me, Estée and Meg all tried this on at the Rimmel A/W launch and all got a different result. I tried it on bare nails and got a gorgeous subtle pearl with purple and green undertones. Estée and Meg tried it on top of the polish they were wearing and it gave such a cool effect.
It's a really multi-use polish and I particularly like it on top of a beige nail polish or a pastel blue.
These came into stores yesterday! What do you think of them?

I don't no what I think of metallic nail paint. It just doesn't give that end finish like normal nail paint.

Love these shades but I don't like metallic polish on me!

It sounds really petty, they look awesome (and I really enjoyed your review), but I probably wouldn't buy them just because of their names. I know it's Jubilee year and whatever, but I really don't like the sort of... creepy 'yay monarchy' in everything. I just want some nail varnish, not a political statement I don't agree with xx
ReplyDeleteThis is really said but I excitedly rushed out to the shops yesterday for the new Rimmel collection. I may have to go back to pick up this varnish! x
