As the weather has got cooler I've been reaching for purple, plums and burgundies in both my clothes and makeup. I've been loving MAC's 'Cranberry' eye shadow and I use it softly blended out in the outer corners . I then use Illamasqua's 'Forgiveness' eye shadow under the lower lash line and slightly on the outer crease to deepen the cranberry shade. To make my lashes look thicker I added my Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes liner in Brown and then used Avon's Super Shock Max Mascara. This mascara has a massive brush and although it's not my favourite, I do quite like it and it gives good volume. I used NARS 'Deep Throat' blush which is one of my favourites that I use all year round and then finished with a Clinique Intense Chubby Stick in Roomiest Rose.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely a cool autumn look, Lily. I don't know why we all start to reach for plums and burgundies once the temperature goes down, but they are lovely colours and definitely suitable for autumn!

Wow, these new Clinique Chubby Sticks really are INTENSE! I'm trying to make the leap into darker shades, but being a neutrals girls I'm finding it SO hard! grr I definitely need to be more adventurous with my make up! haha xx
