Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray* £7.19
UNITE 7 seconds Detangler
I've been trying a few hair spray, type things recently and thought I'd just bung them all together and give you the low down.
As you all know, I'm completely in love with my shampoo and conditioner from Ojon so I wanted to try another product from the range. I like the idea of a Revitilizing Mist so after trying a little spritz in-store, I picked one up at John Lewis. It's a pre-styling treatment that has some lovely ingredients like lemongrass and Ginseng which all help to revitalise and rehydrate the hair. It also help with taming frizz and detangling knots. I do really like this product, although I'm not sure I'd repurchase it as I don't think it's as good as it's price tag implies.
When I think of Sea Salt sprays I think Australian beach waves. I have come to terms with the fact I will never have hair like that so have never looked into Sea Salt sprays before. I was given this Toni & Guy one at fashion week last year and it's been sat in my drawer ever since. One morning last week I was straightening my hair and it dawned on me that this may be a solution to my problem of having to have my hair either dead straight or curly. After straightening my hair, I sprayed a bit of this from the middle to the ends of my hair and I actually really liked the results. It just added the bit of texture and wave I wanted and it made my hair looks more natural and interesting.
The final product is my new obsession, the UNITE 7 second condition, which is basically a detangling spray. I first heard about this through Fleur who always raves about it. After washing my hair, I spray a generous amount of product and it makes brushing my hair a dream. Not only does it literally detangle every knot, but it also makes my hair feel really healthy and soft and provides a UV and heat protector. It's pretty hard to find in the UK but I found a lovely little hairdressers in Bond Street (London) that sells it. The guy that owns it was so sweet that I just had to give them a little mention. I'll put their details below and if you do end up going there to buy one, please say I sent you!

Have you tried any of these products?

I always want to try new hair products, nothing really seems to make much difference so I'm forever hunting. I'm quite intrigued by the sea salt spray, it also makes me think of surfers and beach bums which is a look I quite like on other people but I doubt would suit me.

I've been intrigued by salt sprays for a while now, my hair is usually poker straight or when I can be bothered I curl it into loose curls, but I've wanted 'australian' beach waves for a ages! The Toni & Guy spray sounds really great. Lovely review

I haven't tried any of these products. I am actually using some Kerastase products that my mum had passed down to me which are working like a dream on my hair at the moment as it is so so damaged.. but the texturizing spray looks like something I would like to try.. thanks for posting this!

I might try that Toni and Guy spray next - I'm currently on one from Urban Fudge, but the smell is a bit offputting!

Do the salt spray work on naturally straight hair I wonder? I've really fine hair as well. Would love a wee wave though :(
