A couple of weeks ago on a Sunday morning Rich and I had a mammoth juice making session, so I thought I'd show you what we made. I've always loved fresh juice and we've always had a juicer in my house. I used to make myself a Carrot and Apple juice every morning before school (looking back I can confirm that it did not help with the grades).
I really think drinking fresh juice is so good for you, it makes you feel amazing too. These were the 4 juices we tried using the Philips juicer which is the best one I've tried. I love it because you can fit whole apples and peppers in without having to cut them up into smaller pieces. My favourite juice was 'The Morning Riser'... I could literally drink gallons of it.
If you get the right juicer (one that's easy to clean like this one), having a juice every morning is really easy and it will make you feel so much better and more importantly, it will make your skin amazing. It's an easy and yummy way to get all your fruit and veg.
So anyway... a bit off topic, but I like doing the more lifestyle side of this blog where I can.
Anyone else have a juicer and love experimenting?
Lily xx
*UPDATE* My nutritionist friend Gemma recently told me most the goodness is in the pulp and without it you're left with mainly sugar. So try adding a bit of the pulp back in to get some extra goodness!

Great post! People so often blog about expensive creams and cleansers and forget about the other side of skincare! Hope you are having a lovely day! :)

Over the pas few months I've been trying to get more fruit in my diet to help my skin. I didn't even think of making juices. Will give this a go :) I assume all of those potions taste nice? lol

I've recently been getting into smoothie but I don't have a juicer quite yet (near the top of my to-buy list when I get that graduate job!) but even just adding so much fruit to my diet has improved my skin heaps so can't wait to see what juicing does!

ReplyDeleteI love fresh juice, theres this food stand in Camden that does the best freshly squeezed Orange juice. I don't know what they do thats different or whether it is because its in Camden but somehow its just the best! I will definitely be trying the apple and carrot out.
