Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream - £5.99
I recently picked this up in Boots as you may have seen in this video. I'd seen a couple of people talk about it but had never thought to buy it as I'm not very good at looking after my nails and my cuticles are normally hidden by nail polish.
When I got back from Morocco my nails were in really bad condition, they were flaky and very weak. My cuticles in particular were very dry, which is where Burt's Bees steps in!
The Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream comes in a little pot just like a lip balm, which makes it really easy to apply. I've seen a lot of cuticle treatments that are like nail polishes or as an oily formula in a pen, but this is my favourite by far. You just rub your finger around the pot and apply directly onto your cuticles. It really moisturises and just makes my nails feel in a much better condition.
Have you tried this? Do you use anything on your cuticles?
Lily xx

I absolutely love this stuff. It smells amazing!

Ooooh this looks very nice indeed. I have never tried cuticle cream, but I do use excessive amounts of day and night hand cream daily! I may have to add this to my routine.

This sounds lovely, I love lemon-scented products! I'm awful at looking after my cuticles, they're so dry. I'll be looking out for this next time I'm in Boots!

I got this in my Burt's Bees Grab Bag, but haven't opened it yet. Definitely going to this evening :) xx
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this stuff. I trim my cuticles every couple of weeks, but in between I like to use this to keep them moisturised otherwise they look SO dry and gross. x
ReplyDeleteI use the lotion Balsan (it removes your cuticle like magic, is good for your feet too). and then I put almond oil, or a very nourishing hand cream every night

My cuticles are in really bad condition at the moment, would love to try some of this for them! I don't really think much of my cuticles but they're starting to get a bit painful!

Ah this looks really nice! And definitely sounds easier to apply than other things such as cuticle oils... as they usually end up dripped all over my fingers!

:)
My cuticles can get really dry and cracked, so any sort of cuticle treatment is a must for me. I always pop a bit of cuticle butter on before I go to bed and sometimes also throughout the day and it does help a lot! I'm now very interested in trying the Burt's Bees one :) x
ReplyDeleteI adore this stuff! I find that it helps my cuticles, but it also makes a big difference in the strength of my actual nails. I rub it directly into/onto? my nails after removing nail polish.
ReplyDeleteI use a crabtree and evelyn cuticle cream, it works over or under the polish and is fantastic in general! :)

I have this and its lovely! It doesn't fix the problem but it definitely softens your cuticles and makes them look much better for while or until the next wash or 2.

I love this cuticle cream! It smells gorgeous and makes me feel like I've really done something goood for my cuticles and nails:) I usually use this a couple of times a week before bed (I alternate it with this caring oil by Essence http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ii6fA_8yyjA/T9Nv8__W9hI/AAAAAAAADT0/KHwZtt66uLU/s1600/ESSENCE-Studio-Nails-Caring-Nail-Oil-.jpg, which really improved the condition of my nails a while back. As you really only need a tiny bit because it's quite concentrated, I think this wee tub will last for ages, which is always a plus! x
ReplyDeleteI love this cuticle cream so much! :)

I really should take more care of my cuticles indeed, thank you for reminding me haha! x
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! This babes are hugely underestimated! I don't leave the house without some cuticles treatment, balm or oil, not greasy though. What I really love about it - is the instant refreshment of the manicure, like you just had your nails done) Saved me when my nails looked awful and I missed my weekly salon stop.
ReplyDeleteI need to start taking more care of my cuticles! I don't really know what's you're supposed to do with the and what they're supposed to look like, but I'm guessing that, because I do nothing with mine, mine look horrible haha. Deffo going to try this out :) Thanks for the review!

I have used this, I'm almost half way through my first tin and I brought it with me on vacation to Cuba because I knew it would safe my cuticles (hands and feet)! I think the smell of it is also heavenly and I love that it doesn't feel greasy and absorbs properly.
