Origins 'Never a Dull Moment' - £24.00*
More Origins... can you guess what my favourite skincare brand is at the moment? I really wanted to try an exfoliator and hadn't really heard much about the 'Never a Dull Moment' so I was intrigued. It comes in an orange tube and the product itself is orange too... I'm not sure how I feel about orange, but I still went ahead and gave it a go!
As this exfoliator has bits in it, I was expecting it to be gritty and quite harsh, but it's in fact a lot more gel like than I thought. It smoothes over the skin very easily and doesn't really feel like an exfoliator at all. You can hardly feel the bits in it, so I was a bit sceptical whether it would work. Origins say "Nature's potent enzyme from crushed Papaya, helps to dissolve lacklustre cells and gobbles them up with no irritating friction". It really does work! Once i washed off the orange goo from my face, my skin was left incredibly soft and smooth. Like most Origins products, it smells gorgeous too.
Have you tried this exfoliator? Do you prefer harsh exfoliators or more gentle exfoliators?
Lily xx

I'm loving Origins too at the moment but I haven't tried this yet. I prefer harsh exfoliators so maybe this one isn't for me but I don't know until I try it.

Def gentle. (Wat up Lisa Eldridge!) Any recommendations for gentle exfoliators?
ReplyDeleteI think this might be my first Origins purchase. I'm trying to ween myself off harsh exfoliators.

I definitely prefer gentle exfoliators and I haven't tried this one but after reading your review I'm really tempted, I haven't found one I really like yet. Great post by the way, thank you for sharing!x

I personally like them a bit more grainy and harsh, but I have never tried the Origins one! Thanks for the tip:)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely gentle, aslong as it really does exfoliate though.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds lovely and I love that its orange :)
xo
Love Origins as well! I tried the Never A Dull Moment scrub and thought it was ok... I didn't feel like it did much as far as exfoliating. The Modern Friction scrub however is my HG! I have never found a more gentle, yet effective scrub!

I really want to try more Origins, I just have the GinZing eyecream at that moment that I love. I definitely prefer gentle exfoliators as my skin is quite sensitive I currently use one from the Body Shop Vitamin E range xx
ReplyDeleteI need some Origins in my life I think, it's getting rave reviews left right and centre!
ReplyDeleteGentle exfoliators are really so much better for your skin! :) So this sounds lovely xo
ReplyDeleteI defo prefer harsh exfoliators than gentle ones. I know they're more bad for the skin but there is something about feeling the little beads on my skin that reassures me that they're actually working aha. x
ReplyDeleteAll your Origins reviews are really making want to try some of their products! This is a very intriguing product, really want to find an exfoliator which smooths of dead skin, but isn't too abrasive.
ReplyDeleteI used to use this product all the time when I was a teenager. Loved the scent - really need to get back into using it!xx
ReplyDeleteAs crazy as it sounds, I do prefer a harsher scrub- particularly Soap & Glory's 'Scrub Your Nose in it'. This sounds good though, shame about the price tag!

I am a big fan of Origins product and i use quite alot of their brand in my skin-care routine. Their quality is really amazing and most importantly, they are very natural to use. I never really looked at this exfoliator, but i may just have to try it out next time and it sounds much more gentle compared with my modern friction at the moment~ Thanks so much for sharing~x

Yeah, enzymes are a better and much natural alternative to the old style grainy exfoliators.

This sounds like a perfect formulation for my sensitive skin ! xx

I think I prefer harder exfoliators to softer because i feel they work more for my skin. However i might try this origins one, seems good.
