A
Perfect World™ BB SPF 15 Age-defense tinted moisturizer with White Tea £27*
I don't know about you guys, but when I heard that Origins were bringing out a BB cream, I whooped with joy! You all know by now what a fan of Origins I am and I really trust them as a brand. I already use quite a few products from the 'A Perfect World' range and the BB cream is a part of that range.
It is available in 6 shades which is a good amount BUT I wear the lightest shade 01 and I am, as you know, not really that fair. So it probably wouldn't work for people with very fair skin - just a heads up!
So onto the product itself... One of the main selling points is that it includes Antioxidant-rich Silver Tip White Tea. This ingredient is known to help to boost the skin’s defences against the damaging
effects of pollution and other environmental aggressors. It also has SPF 15 in it which prevents age-accelerating sun damage and UV
exposure.
I've thoroughly tested it and am really impressed. I was expecting the consistency of a tinted moisturiser but it's actually quite a bit thicker than my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser. It's extremely hydrating and you can really feel the skin benefits that it gives. It gives quite a good coverage but as expected, you are left with a very dewy finish. I wore it in this video, so you can see what it actually looks like on. I often find with tinted moisturisers that they are so thin I need to use my hands to apply it, but this is thick enough to use a brush (if you want to). I sometimes find that using a brush gives a slightly fuller coverage, so it's nice sometimes to have the option. It smells gorgeous! Origins products always smell lovely.
Have you tried a BB cream before? Will you be trying this one from Origins?
Lily xx

This sounds brilliant, I love BB Creams and Origins... winner! May perhaps be a bit dark for me though when I'm not tanned :( x

Can't believe this is the lightest shade, there would be a serious dark face/pale neck situation going on with me ! xx

FINALLY. I have been waiting for someone to review this for quite a while now. Thank you x

I would not have thought that shade was the lightest at all! But it does look great for summer. Haven't tried a BB cream yet am rather tempted by this one xx
ReplyDeletelooks so nice, but no way am i the same skin colour as you! shame that they don't bring out lighter shades

Your origins review sounds so good, I;m really tempted to book myself a mini facial! Shame this would probably be to dark for me though!
ReplyDeleteLove Origins skincare! Unfortunately, like you mentioned I was a little dissapointed with the shade selection because I am very fair & 01 was too dark. I had the same problem with Estee Lauder's BB Cream which I was also so excited to try. Oh well!

This BB Cream looks so nice! Finding the right shade in BB Creams has been an issue for me but since Origins have released 6 shades (in the darker range), there might even be one for me!

This looks so good! I just use a garnier bb cream at the moment but I'll definitely be trying a different one next. It's a shame about the colours though, because I think I have paler skin than you x

ReplyDeleteI really want to try a BB cream but I don't have the best skin so I didn't think they would work coverage wise. Maybe I'll give them a try!

I hear so many great things about Origins, I'm going to have to try something out myself! xo
ReplyDeletei love origins products and i am a loyal user of their brand! However, i don't think BB creams are great for oily skin despite all their skin-treating qualities. I would so love for BB creams to work for me though because there seems to be many great ones on the market at the moment!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing~x

I'd never heard of this until just now, I'm tempted but there are so many other skin products I want to try. I have a strict one in/one out policy!
ReplyDeleteThat's unfortunate that the color range is so dark :(! I am quite fair, so I don't think this product would work for me, thanks for the heads up! I am interested in trying out a bb cream, do you have any others you like?

I really like Origin's and was excited to hear about this product, but having really pale skin it might, unfortunately, be a no goer for me! Thanks for the review.
