Jemma Kidd Blushwear Creme Cheek Colour in 'Paw Paw' £13
I saw Kate talking about this blusher last week and as I'm already a big fan of Jemma Kidd makeup, I knew I had to try it. I ordered it on Feel Unique along with a couple of other things I needed to get.
It is described as lightweight, stay-put créme to powder blusher with added antioxidants.
I made the mistake of sticking my stippling brush straight in the pan, when in fact it's much better to apply it with your finger. It's a very soft, creamy and sheer consistency. I've found it best to apply it with my finger, but then once it's on my cheek I use the stippling brush to blend it out.
It's a gorgeous coral (yes I know, another coral!). There isn't a massive colour pay off but it's perfect for days where I want a more natural makeup look.
Do you like cream blushers? Have you tried this blush before?

The colour of this is lovely and natural. The cream blush on my wishlist at the moment is a Laura Mercier one in Blaze! x

This blush is gorgeous, but I do not need anymore coral blushes. I am trying to tell myself I don't need it. x
ReplyDeletedoesn't it look like the topshop head over heels ? or is it just the lighting in the picture ?
ReplyDeletei'm keen to try a cream blusher, my boyfriends sister uses the MAC one and I just love it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really nice subtle shade by the looks of it. I've not tried Jemma Kidd products either, are they good?

;) Oh don´t feel bad ´bout u buying another blush...we´re makeup addicts, we can´t help it. ;) It is so weird, I like a natural look, but I still buy loads of stuff...eek! I gotta stop that. This cream blush looks amazing tho. Do you think it would work on combination skin thats more on the oilier side as well?
ReplyDeleteI love cream blusher as I have fairly dry skin. Powder seems to look quite unnatural on me. I wish Jemma Kidd was more readily available in America (or, at least my neck of the woods), because there are several products that I've heard great things about.
ReplyDeletePS: I just found your through ViviannaDoesMakeup and I love you already. Too fast? Sorry.
I love using creme blushers and I find they always look better applied with fingers ! Such a pretty shade you got ! xx

ReplyDeleteThis looks gorgeous and also really good quality but still cheaper than brands like MAC. I'll definitely be trying a Jemma Kidd blusher! x

Added antioxidants in a creme blush? thats the first i've heard and it's a really great idea, regardless of how effective it is. I have a love/hate relationship with cream blushers due to my oily complexion, but this colour is just lovely and natural, great for a cute flush of colour :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing~x
