I'm fully converted and now love my American Apparel Disco Pants. I hated them when I first saw them but I think it's because how they were styled and now I've found ways to wear them that suit me.
My new denim shirt from Topshop is too short to wear with leggings but looks perfect with disco pants. I often wear them with a smarter shirt, like my printed one from Zara that I showed in this post. On colder days when I can't just get away with a shirt, I layer a sweater on top and because the disco pants are so high waisted it's easy to wear a cropped sweater like my orange Topshop one. In the Summer I'll be wearing a loose fitted sleeveless top with my mint green bandeau from Monki underneath. When I'm feeling a bit more daring I like to tuck tops into the disco pants and this striped top from H&M looks perfect with bright red lipstick. I actually wore that outfit in this music video by Anna Krantz.
I think Disco Pants are like Marmite... do you love them or hate them?

I love how you laid everything out! I really like how they look on other people but they are far too expensive considering my poor student status, and I wonder if they'd be too long for me anyway as I am a shorty. I saw some dupes on milkbubbletea though and am considering them! x
