Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick '05' & '08' - £5.49
Nothing new to the market, but something new to me. When Kate Moss first released her lipsticks with Rimmel I had no interest in trying them. I'm not a big fan of Kate Moss and they just didn't appeal to me. That was until these 3 words came out of Jen's mouth, 'they're really good!'... that was it, I went to buy some (so fickle). I always trust my friends' opinions and I just had to give them a try. My local Boots had hardly any left apart from these two colours, but luckily they were very me.
I wasn't expecting much from a 'drugstore' brand and was prepared for them to be drying... I was so wrong. The lipsticks apply so smoothly and feel really moisturising when on. I love the two colours I chose and think they are very wearable. I'm really impressed with the quality and how lovely they feel on the lips and I'll definitely be looking into buying some of the other shades. I'd go as far as saying this is the nicest 'drugstore' lipstick that I've tried!

I have 05 and absolutely LOVE it , it is my favourite 'going out' lipstick. it lasts so long, doesn't cling to dry patches on my lips and is pretty moisturising too!! love the other colour you have too :) xx

I love Shade 03 from this line, it's a perfect darker nude. I'd say Rimmel are up there in my favourites when it comes to Lipsticks! X

These are not just good, they are brilliant! I LOVE almost all Rimmel lip products, especially for such price.

ReplyDeleteI've got shade 08 and love it too. It's so nice for a 'day' lipstick as it's so neutral yet gives just enough colour. It's quality really impressed me too and I have no idea why I've not picked up some more yet!

I've got the shade in 08 and I love it aswell! It's a gorgeous colour and looks really nice on the lips. I'm interested in trying the other shade you have and the plum colour too xx

Oh i love them! I have also one of them and I really like the Quality of it. And by the way, I adore Kate Moss... ;) I got mine from Asos because I couldn´t find them here in Germany.

I absolutely love these!! They're such a great range I ahve two colours the 05 like you and the 01. They're amazing, they smell nice and feel great on. The 01 is aan amazing deep red shade so that one's great if you like a full-on red colour!

ReplyDeleteI read this post yesterday and liked the look of them but then a girl I work with pulled them out of her make up bag and said that she felt like they bled a bit & didn't leave a straight line after a while of wearing it which I thought was a shame. Did anyone else notice the same problem?

ReplyDeleteThe very dark red one is such a lush shade, it's so wearable and flattering. I love taking it out on nights out too because if I lose it, it isn't quite as devastating as taking a Chanel one and losing that! I think they smell quite good for drugstore lipsticks too.
