The temperature has definitely dropped in London, but I am not prepared to give up spring pastel colours yet. I love combining mint pastel green with nude pink, I did it here with my nails! This floaty top from Topshop (years ago) is a perfect spring top. The vest top is from H&M - I love their vest tops! I also wore my new Aldo shoes which I will show you in another post.

Now, dare I say it, I think I may be a little bit excited for the Royal Wedding on Friday. The publicity around it has driven me crazy and I have been looking forward to the day when I don't have to hear about a bloody Royal Wedding.... but now it is nearly here, I am kind of looking forward to it.

So the hen day/night was a MASSIVE success! I am so happy everything went to plan and everyone had such a great time. I can't share all the photos, but here are a few...

Hi!
Really sorry for the lack of posts this week. I have had a busy week at work and so haven't had much time for the blog :-(
It is my sister's hen night this Saturday, which I have been organising with two other people for months! I am nervous but also really excited. It is going to be great and hopefully I can share some snaps on here. I will hopefully be able to do some more beauty blogging soon too as I am really enjoying finding new products - they seem to be working great, my skin is the best it's ever been right now!
Anyway, I am loving wearing my sunglasses again. I got these last year and I knew they would last for ever.

There is a massive H&M by where I work, but everytime I go in there I never seem to find anything and it is very frustrating. But recently I made the best discovery... Right upstairs, on the third floor, at the back is the BEST section. It is where all the better quality, slightly more expensive clothes are. I found so many nice things and this jumper was one of them. 

I first saw this jumper on RUMI and loved the shape, so when I saw one left on the rail, in my size, I had to grab it! I love the longer back, and the weight of it. The outside of it is silver and feels quite rough, but the inside is really soft.

Last week when the sun came out I had a sudden realization of how much black and grey takes up my wardrobe. I suddenly craved some colour - even though I hardly ever wear it. The best highstreet store to go to for colour at the moment is definitely Zara. It is literally like a rainbow in there. I picked up about 20 items and took them all into the fitting room. Some were horrendously unflattering, and some were surprisingly sweet. I hardly ever wear colour, and when I do, it is paired with black or white or something plain. Whilst trying everything on, top by top and skirt by skirt, I stumbled across this combo. I would never normally wear green and blue together, but I think I really like this!

I'm not gonna lie, I haven't quite braved it outside yet. But it is not an outfit that can be worn with tights, so I will have to wait until the weather improves. But I am looking forward to wearing this colourful, sort of preppy look this summer!

A little sneak preview of the dress I bought for... I'm just going to call it 'wedding season'.

I didn't want to show it on, because it looks so much better when my makeup, hair and everything is done properly!
